Privacy policy

• Account: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), profile photo and bio.
• Learning activity: enrollments, lesson progress and video position, quiz, lab and exam answers, grades and certificates.
• Community: questions and answers you post on lessons.
• Purchases: orders and invoices. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
• Technical: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

To provide courses and track your progress, grade work and issue certificates, send the notifications you choose in your settings, process payments, keep the platform secure, and answer your messages. We do not sell your data.

Some final exams are monitored to protect the value of certificates. Before a monitored exam starts we explain what is recorded and ask for your consent. Without consent you can still study the course, but you cannot take that exam.

Integrity events (for example leaving the exam window) are kept with your attempt. Webcam or screen data, when an exam uses them, is kept for 30 to 90 days and then deleted, unless it is needed to resolve an open review.

Teachers see the progress, submissions and exam results of students in their own courses. Administrators can access accounts to provide support and handle reviews; these actions are recorded in an audit log. Service providers (hosting, email, payments) process data only on our behalf.

You can update your profile at any time from your profile page. You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us. Certificates already issued may be kept as revoked records so that verification codes stay meaningful.

Account, security and payment emails are always sent. Everything else can be turned on or off per category in your notification settings.

If we make important changes we will tell you by email or with an announcement in the app before they apply.
